How dressed up do people get or what kinds of clothes should we bring?

Its the country, so casual is fine (but not shorts and tank tops for adults). Dinner on a Friday or Saturday evening, or a long Sunday lunch, calls for slacks and a shirt, or skirt.
Dinner at a nice restaurant in Florence is a different story.
